Here's one of our takes on pesto. Add a little "oomph" to your green spread with homegrown basil and shelled peas.
1 cup shelled peas
1/4 cup pine nuts
Handful of basil
Handful of shredded cheese (we love cheddar, but parmesan is a classic choice here)
1. Gather your ingredients from your Seedsheet & kitchen pantry.
2. Throw everything in food processor & blend until smooth.
3. Prepare your peasto vehicles (crackers, baguette, carrot sticks, spoon, fork, etc).
4. Spread and savor! (Prosciutto is optional)
