How to Harvest Pickling Cucumbers

Pickling Cucumbers are easy to grow, and make for a great snack or pickle-candidate. These are small, early fruits for those who don't like to wait. Harvest with the techniques below for healthy, continuous harvests.

  1. Pickling Cucumber plants will start to produce yellow flowers after about 6 weeks followed by 4"-6" fruit.
  2. Harvest Pickling Cucumbers when they form on the vine, by looking around the plants to find the fruit.
  3. Pick often to encourage the plant to produce more!
  4. Snack on these raw, or make your own smoked salmon appetizers.
