How to Harvest Marigolds

Most people grow Marigolds to deter pests from the garden, but the bright orange flowers make great additions to bouquets too! The plants produce a large quantity of blooms, so the occasional harvest can give you the best of both worlds.

How to Harvest Marigolds:

  1. When Marigolds start flowering, these can be harvested frequently to encourage more bloom-production.
  2. Take a pair of scissors and snip down the stem from a blossom.
  3. The Marigold plants will continue to produce side-shoots with more buds and flowers.
