Gleaming Green Smoothie Recipe

This gleaming, green smoothie made with 100% superfoods will be the antidote to your sluggish morning. Dark-leafy greens have incredible antioxidants to invigorate and cleanse your system (the added metabolism-boosting properties of ginger don't hurt either). RECIPE

Ingredients:

2 handfuls spinach leaves

A bit of parsley

1 medium banana, peeled (fresh or frozen)

1/2 teaspoon turmeric 

1 cup almond milk

Knob of ginger, peeled

1-2 spoonfuls of your favorite nut butter

ICE (optional) 

Directions:

  1. Blend all ingredients until smooth.
  2. Pour into 2 glasses (cucumber shot glasses optional).
  3. Enjoy your energy-filled morning with a free pass to flex your biceps.
