Beet Smoothie For Two

Wake up your Valentine this Sunday

with an easy, energy-boosting, bright-red beet smoothie.

 

RECIPE: Beet Smoothie for Two

 

Ingredients:

1 medium sized beet, peeled and quartered

1 equal or larger-sized orange, peeled and halved

A knob of ginger, peeled and cut in half

Squirt of honey

Dash of cinnamon (optional)

1 1/2 cup water (adjust to your desired consistency)*

steps:

-Prep all of your ingredients and place in your blender

-Blend until smooth

-Pour into pint-sized mason jars (for the full effect) and stick a straw in each

 

*Feel free to adjust this mix however you like! Add more ginger to spice it up, or more honey if you've got an undeniable sweet tooth.
